Not sure what's going on in this comic? Read the earlier episodes in the Main Series to catch up, or read the one-off episodes in the Shorts Series.

I didn't see this coming. The idea of Plok getting angry because of the Switch's detachable controller is pretty clever.

Nice one!
But now I want Plok 2 for the Nintendo Switch.

Exactly - I expected Plok to bemoan the fact that the Switch had no Plok game on it, but the idea for this strip is actually better! As usual I really like the attention to detail when you include hardware into the comic.
I do hope the Pickfords will still find some spare time to continue the comic inbetween their Zelda playing sessions. Fingers crossed 🤞

Good idea.
Make a Plok Switch game, where you need to use the joycons as the arms.
But you keep making the "Sell one million comics" route before you consider that, presumably out of laziness, and the fact that you don't want to make Plok an internet meme by spamming it on otherwise unmentionable imageboards for "advertising" purposes.

No clue.

If there's a Switch Plok game in the future, doubtful as it may be, the joycons must be referred to constantly as the Plokontroller(s)

Ha ha ha! Oh Plok, I didn't even realize they copy you. You know, now is the best time to put your first game Plok! on the new Switch. And while you're at it, you should make a new sequel for the new console as well.
How many of you brought the new Switch at the midnight launch? (me putting my hand up).

I got the Switch. But I didn't waste my time with that midnight crap.
I preoredered it the day the price and release date was announced.

Heard some people are already breaking parts of the Switch just by installing game cards and joycons. Also no Virtual Console at launch so you won't be able to tell if you can get them for free or discounted if you already own them on other systems for a few months.

If Plok were to be at the Switch Virtual Console launch, because you told Nintendo to do it, and you solely own everything about the game, and you must hate the extra money that will be caused by people wondering just what this game was the stupid name is, and buying it to find out to be one of the best SNES games of all time, then you can sell one million comics easily, and then make Plok 2.

Okay. The comic itself was awesome, but the fact that you referenced the German comic (which... I swear you said was "non-canon" at some point) just adds a decadent layer of frosting to this comic treat!

enchiridion? this spambot is broken
On an unrelated note, why are Plok's eyes orange? They're blue on the cover art for the SNES game. Did sleeping for 20 years do something to his eyes?

So there's a new game on Steam Greenlight called Blobcat that Jim Sterling just did a video on, and he seems to like it. Isn't that what Plok usually calls Bubsy/Blubsy?

@woot000 I think the comic's character designs are actually based from the original artwork rather than the box art.
