This is a scan of a short interview with John which I found archived on the brilliant World of Spectrum website.

Although it looks today like the aspect ratio of the picture is wrong, John really was that thin back then! Also, instead of a photo, John sent a 'digitalised' image from the new black and white video camera we'd just got at Binary Design. We used similar images in the 128k version of Amaurote.
