Naked War Chronicles: Chapter 1
A story based, single player Naked War adventure, pitting your wits against computer AI controlled enemies over mulitple levels
One idea for a spin-off from the two-player only battle game of Naked War is a single player, offline adventure version of the game, with a storyline and computer-AI controlled enemies to be faced over a series of pre-designed levels.
Your four-unit team will have to do battle against enemy teams of potentially unlimited size, with access to new weapons and different vehicles.
The familiar turn based setup > execution method from Naked War will be used, but new situations will require the formulation of new strategies to beat your computer controlled opponents.
We may even see the return of an old friend (or is he an enemy now?) from our Spectrum days...
Developing both convincing computer AI for the Naked War game system, and creating a compelling single player campaign, are significant tasks in their own right, which is why the original Naked War game doesn't contain an offline single player mode. This is why we envisage a single player version of Naked War to be a separate product in itself, rather than merely a missing feature from the original, that we can just add in a later version.
