Subject: Plok comic strip
Using a sheet of A3 tracing paper, I roughly sketched in the Plok limbs where I thought they should be according to the thumbnail sketch.
I knew that I wanted to draw the Plok limbs as a completely separate layer from the background, so that I could move them around, or tweak their size relative to background, once the drawings were finished. Although this meant I'd end up drawing lots of background detail that would be covered up, I figured it was worth the extra effort to be able to move the Plok limbs around if I needed to.
