Work comic (Night & Day & Night)

Subject: Project Joy Comics

I've not drawn any comics for ages. Just over a year, I think. I've just been working all that time and haven't felt like drawing in the evenings, until this last week.

The idea for this one grew slowly in my head over a month or so, and nagged at me for a few weeks until I had no choice but to draw it, and I feel much better now that it's down on paper. I've even drawn a couple of other more fun things since.

I suppose I could have condensed it down to a single page, but I couldn't decide whether the Night or Day should come first, so decided to stretch it to two pages and have it both ways. Plus, two pages in a year feels better than one.

I actually thought it was a comic about work anxieties when I started it, but now it's finished I realise it's just a comic about getting old.

I'll try and do something funny next time.
