John and I had a smashing time at the video game BAFTAs on Friday, where our game Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint was nominated for an award in the Handheld and Mobile category.
We thought we'd blog about our big day out in the form of this series of 'BAFTA diary' posts.
To kick off, here's the start of our day, 1pm on Friday afternoon. John is getting picked up in a posh car sent by the organisers to drive us both down to London (and back again!), which is way more film-star than we are used to being treated as game devs.
Usually bus fare being put on expenses would be the most we would expect.
I think the car was arranged because we were giving an award out, not just because we were nominated.

I was going to say! We never got a driver when we were nominated in the same category... What a great honour to be asked to give an award... Congrats.
