Subject: Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint
© Owen Grieve
There's not much I need to write here, as I'm just reporting on another blog post over at Smartbomb about Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint. The whole story is in the other blog, so you should read that first.
We had a vague plan from before release to make a stack of these "Cluster Shape Identification Card" sets after creating the original prop for the promo video, which we both loved. I've got some little eyelets from the craft shop, and the laminator all ready.
We were thinking of giving them out as prizes, perhaps to people at the top of the leaderboards, but we don't have an easy mechanism for getting in touch with people through Game Center.
Maybe we should just run a little contest via Facebook / Twitter when the next update comes out, with prizes for the best scores on the new tables, or for the first people to S-Rank each page?
Let us know if you have any top ideas about what we could or should give prizes out for, bearing in mind that they're going to be small, and cheap!
Progress is being made on the Blueprint update, with two new prototypes in there for Skeleton Key holders (mostly John's work), and some work done by me on designing two new pages of Classic Game tables. The bulk of our time since release has been spent trying to promote the game, but I've also been distracted from the table designs by work on another Magnetic Billiards project, some discussion of Naked War for iPad, and by some documents I need to write for yet another project.
We've been busy!

The guy at the top of the iPhone grand score table. That's me. Do I win one of the rumoured Pickford Bros plush toys? If so, I want Ste. No actually John. In fact I want Ste as it will have a bigger beard.
