Subject: Sketches

I've really dropped off with my sketching lately. For a while last year I was trying to sketch something at least once a day, and always kept a tiny sketchbook (like the one shown) in my back pocket wherever I went.

It's tailed off in the last few months, and although I'm on my 4th little pocket sketchbook, I've got out of the habit of carrying it around with me. I'm not sure why. I could feel myself improving when made sure I drew something every day. I guess trying to force a daily habit was starting to feel a bit like work rather than pleasure.

I still think I need to improve though, so I think I'm going to try and start up the habit again today, and do some little drawings that aren't work or comic strip related.
