Saturday sketch

Subject: Sketches

I've just got back from a lovely week off work in sunny Majorca. I did a little bit of sketching, but not very much. I was mostly just relaxing and doing absolutely nothing, which was great. This sketch is a view from the balcony of the hotel, with a few towels and shoes and things drying in the sun.

Thanks to the wonders of modern technology I was able to answer a few emails about work while lying on the sun lounger, but thankfully nothing too heavy or difficult. I was forever worrying about the data charges on the phone though, which made it feel like internet browsing in the modem / telephone line days, when you'd jump on line and do all your business as quickly as possible (composing emails off-line, etc.), because the phone bill clock was ticking. Only on the second to last day did I discover that the hotel had free wifi, if only I sat in the nice cool reception. Doh!

Feel all nicely refreshed now, and rearing to get back to work. Even on a Saturday!
