Subject: Comics
I've not drawn any new comic strips this week, so I've dug something out of the archive.
This is a comic strip from a fanzine I used to publish in 1989 / 1990 with my friend Paul, called Freaky Dancing.
This page was a centre spread written by Paul and drawn by myself, combining our two favourite things at the time - acid house and Marvel comics!
The image above is a coloured in 'remix' of the original page (the fanzine was only photocopied in black and white), with the lettering re-done on computer (and the many spelling mistakes fixed), and colour added. I did it a while back as an experiment to work out how to process comic pages on computer. It probably took longer to add the lettering and colouring than it did to draw the original.
Click on the image for a large version, where you can actually read the lettering.
