Subject: Vampire Circus

This is another page from my Vampire Circus concept art sketchbook from 1996.

This was to show the look of the game on screen. We wanted a Gauntlet kind of feel, with swarms of enemies overwhelming your squad of five characters.

I was really pleased with this page.

I did the little drawings of each character individually, as part of each character's design sketches, then I printed out scans of each sketch, cut them out, and stuck them into my sketchbook and drew the backgrounds and the baddies all around them.

I thought I was being dead clever!
