Subject: Naked War PC
This is a test render for the texture blending system in Naked War. Nothing especially clever but it was one of a few measures we took to ensure the actual map file was tiny. Each tile had a simple terrain type value which (sometimes in combination with its neighbours) would correspond to a particular source texture. Source textures were blended where appropriate with neighbours to generate the final texture. So each map would gave its own unique texture which contained everything needed for the top surface of each tile.
