First Ploks

These are the first few sketches I did for the character which would become Plok, from John's initial idea of a character wearing a hangman's hood. The very first sketch was in the margin of a layout for the Ironsword shop screen by the look of it.

These were the first proper Plok drawings I did, once we decided that this was the game we were going to develop as a coin-op for Rare's Razz Board. I was still scared stiff of using colour at this point!

Doodles

These were early sketches for ideas which were part of the coin-op, but never made it into the SNES game, so became part of our wildly optimistic plans for sequels or further Plok games.

Western attempts as 'manga' are always ill-advised, so I'm glad 'Suki' never made it into a finished product...
