Deg Illustrations

A series of blog posts discussing Ste's process of creating the illustrations for Deg

In late 2015 I was asked by Patrick Garratt to illustrate his debut novel, Deg. I worked on the illustrations over the next few months, and the novel was published by Urbane Publications in November 2016.

In this series of blog posts I talk about the process of creating the eleven full page illustrations, and show the stages from pencils to final inks for each one.
