Finally making some good progress. The tutorial modes (a massive PITA) are all but done. 23 out 24 lessons are working. The last one just needs the corresponding element in the main game to be finished. The whole thing still needs a bit of polish but I'm reasonably happy with it. Ste designed the lessons and I think they work well in taking you through the key concepts of the game one step at a time. The tutorial is entirely optional but judging by our experience with Naked War it's something that players do want.

I've got about 12 things left to do before I can release the alpha version on Friday. Nothing too worrying and only a couple of them are vital.

I'm still playing Fallout 3 when I get a chance. This game continues to impress. It really is an incredible piece of work and Bethesda thoroughly deserve their success. I think my save file is just about nudging 49 hours (I completed the game at the 24 hour mark and reverted to an earlier save to carry on). I'm still discovering major locations. My character is almost at level 19/20.

I'm also playing a LOT of Naked War at the moment. We've had a few new players recently and I've found myself re-addicted again. I know I'm biased but I love this game. If you haven't tried it give it a go (you can play for ages for free) and I'll thrash you for a couple of games then sulk when you beat me.

Working on some documentation for future projects this week, while digesting some of the Magnetic Billiards alpha feedback.

I'll be trimming, editing, and otherwise trying to improve the tutorial in Magnetic Billiards next week.

I'm currently completely addicted to Fallout 3. Wow, what a game!

I think I'm only about half way through, but loving every second of it. I was delighted to find out that there's a load of additional downloadable content coming. It should be available for me by the time I finish the game, so I probably won't be playing anything else (other than Magnetic Billiards and Naked War) for months.
