Tip 4: Using crates

Crates are opened by ordering your soldiers to walk through them when setting up a turn. Its sometimes worth taking your soldier on a slightly longer route, by using extra move commands, to pick up more crates each turn.

When a soldier walks through a crate he collects a pick-up item from inside. These can be either Medikits, Shields, Promotions or extra Ammunition. Any pick-up items collected can be used by the soldier next turn.
