Officer's Manual: Ranks

When a character's health bar goes down to zero they are de-mobbed, losing their uniform and weapon and being stripped of all military rank. As civilians they lose access to military equipment, so can no longer occupy tanks or other vehicles, and are unable to harm characters on the opposing team.

Naked characters is not out of the battle completely though! Their movement distance increases enormously (now that they are no longer encumbered by military equipment), and they can still occupy cells on the map, potentially blocking an opponents progress. They retain access to buildings occupied by their team, and they can still collect items from crates. Most importantly of all, as a civilian non-combatant, a naked character is completely protected from damage by the weapons of either team - naked characters cannot be killed!

A naked character is still allowed to use promotion power-up items in their inventory, so they are able to promote themselves back to Private, getting their weapon and uniform back, and going straight back into battle the next turn!

Private , the lowest military rank, is the rank at which every character starts each new battle.

This rank has a weak line of sight weapon, low movement distance, low defence level, and full access to all military vehicles and buildings, other than those belonging to the opposing team.

This is the next rank up from Private, and can only be achieved by using a promotion power-up to give the character a field promotion.

This rank has a slightly improved line of sight weapon, medium movement distance, medium defence level, and full access to all military vehicles and buildings, other than those belonging to the opposing team.

This is the next rank up from Corporal, and can only be achieved by using a promotion power-up to give the character a field promotion.

This rank has a much improved line of sight weapon, good movement distance, good defence level, and full access to all military vehicles and buildings, other than those belonging to the opposing team.

This is the next rank up from Sergeant, and is the highest rank that a character can reach during a battle. It can only be achieved by using a promotion power-up to give the character a field promotion.

This rank has a powerful line of sight weapon, very good movement distance, very high defence level, and full access to all military vehicles and buildings, other than those belonging to the opposing team.

Characters of this rank also have the unique ability to bestow field promotions on any other members of their team - even naked civilians - from any position on the map, provided that they have sufficient promotion power-ups in their inventory.

This is the lowest possible player rank, and is awarded for free by registering the game.

This rank is for trainee officers (players trying out the game), and as such access to the Players website is restricted, and players of this rank do not get a Player Info page, and cannot participate in Top 40 tables etc.

This is the first rank achieved by a fully paid up subscribing member of the Naked War community.

Players of this rank get a Player Info page detailing statistics about their play habits, details of their currently active and completed games and the ability to complete games against inactive players, or recall challenges sent to unresponsive opponents. They also get full access to Players website, and can participate in community games and events and Top 40 tables etc.

This is the third player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the fourth player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the fifth player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the sixth player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the seventh player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the eigth player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the ninth player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the tenth player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the eleventh player rank, awarded by purchasing one or more subscriptions, or earning in-game reward ranks. Full Players website access is granted at this rank or higher.

This is the ultimate player rank, the highest possible, awarded by purchasing multiple subscriptions, and earning in-game reward ranks. Full website access is granted at this rank.
