Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint

Magnetic Billiards (early prototype) 2 player mode

This is another shot from the early 'blueprint' version of what has become Magnetic Billiards: Seriously Casual. It's one of two 2 player modes we developed. This mode had both players playing at the same time, another mode had them taking turns. The game mechanic was pretty simple - create a cluster of 5 or more balls and the surplus balls would be dumped onto your opponents screen. These balls were always coloured black.

The two player modes don't feature in the current game as we felt they weren't really appropriate for a PC casual title - there's no comfortable way for two people to play on the same PC and setting up proper online play is really beyond the scope of a small project like this.

If the game makes it onto one of the big consoles we'll definitely reinstate these modes.
