Subject: Magnetic Billiards: Seriously Casual
This is a rough sketch from my work notebook of my first ideas for the Magnetic Billiards user interface.
It's actually not that far away from what we've settled on. Wooden panels with brass rims around mechanical number rollers.
One early idea was to have slate panels dropping on from the top of the screen with high scores chalked onto them, but that was dropped, and the actual design and number of individual panels has changed a lot since this sketch.
